Mrs. Clara Smith Gaines, 85, of Greenville, passed on Friday, August 12, 2016, at her home. Born in Greenville, she was the daughter of the late Joe Thomas and Mattie Morgan Smith.
Surviving: godson, Jimmy (Brenda) Martin of Greenville; stepdaughter, Cynthia Hudson of Columbus, OH; stepson, Tommie Lewis Gaines, Jr. of Columbus, GA; and a host of other relatives and friends.
