Mr. Clate Melvin Clement, 83, of Greenville, passed on Wednesday September 6, 2017, at Greenville Health System. He was a son of the late John Pinckney and Blanche Smith Clement.
Surviving: one son, Willie (Dietra) Clement; four sisters, Hattie Thombs of Greenville, Elizabeth Murray of Augusta, GA, Ella Mae Bullock of Greer and Emma Hyler of Greenville; eight grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren, two special devoted friends, Rebecca Simmons and Syvilla Wilson. and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
