Mr. Clyde Cook “Short Daddy King” Golman Sr., 76, departed this life on November 27, 2015. He was born on March 3, 1939, in Greenville, SC, and was the son of the late Theodore Diggs and Earnestine Diggs.
He attended Sterling High School and was a former cook at Pete’s Original Restaurant.
He was predeceased by his wife, Thelma Lee Johnson Golman; brothers, Willie Wilson and Fred Wilson, Jr.; sister, Lela Mae Robinson and grandchild, Jamie Johnson.
He is survived by his daughters, Phyllis (Jerome) Boston, Tasha (Edward) McKelvey and Tiffany Johnson all of Greenville, SC; sons, Clyde C. “Zeek” Golman Jr., of Greenville, Ronald (Sandra) Golman of Mauldin, SC and Anthony (Corinthia) Gault, both of Greenville; sisters, Earnestine McBee, and Betty Lasenberry, both of Greenville, SC; seventeen grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
