Corporal Norman Griffin, Jr. “Grip”, 90, of Greenville, South Carolina, passed away on Monday, December 19, 2022, at Magnolia Manor of Greenville. Born in Pickens County, South Carolina, he was a son of the late Norman Sr. and Sarah Mullingan Griffin.
Surviving: four daughters, Jacqueline Griffin of Easley, SC, Norma Jean (Rodney) Smith of Greenville, SC, Melinda Ann Griffin of Easley, SC and Avril (Jermaine) Sargeant of Cleveland, OH; one son, Ronald Eugene Griffin of Beverly Hills, CA; one sister, Peggy Kennedy of Columbia, SC; ten grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends at 211 Brook Lane, Easley, South Carolina.
Funeral Services: Tuesday, December 27, 2022, 11:00am, at Watkins Garrett & Woods Mortuary, with interment in Hillcrest Memorial Park, Pickens SC.
