Daisy Mae Freeman

Mrs. Daisy Mae Makins Freeman, 78, departed this life to go to her Heavenly home on January 25, 2019. She was a daughter of the late Annie Denise Makins and Willie Erskine Anderson.

She attended Sanders High School and formerly worked at Kemet Electronics. She was a member of the Piedmont Manor Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; maternal grandparents, Green and Daisy Makins; two brothers, Rob Makins and Willie E. Anderson; and two sisters, Olivera Anderson and Tammy Anderson.

Left to cherish many fond and loving memories are three daughters, Charlene Makins (William) Mangle of Simpsonville, SC, Jacqueline Makins Golden of Mauldin, SC, and Sharanda Makins Freeman of Greenville, SC; four sisters, Barbara (Rev. Ronnie) Bowens and Wanda Anderson (Michael) Suber, both of Greenville, SC, and Diane Bailey and Ruby Lee Sullivan, both of Laurens, SC; three brothers, David (Emmarie) Makins of El Paso, TX, Lawrence Cannon of Simpsonville, SC, and Reginald (Sharon) Walker of Simpsonville, SC; twelve grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; an aunt, Lillie Daisy Wakefield of Detroit, MI; and a host of other relatives and friends.
