Damion was born in Greenville, South Carolina, and attended Gaffney High School. He was employed at the Dollar Tree Distribution Center in Cowpens, South Carolina.

Franklin of Gaffney; two stepsisters, Keiayrria Dawkins of Gaffney and Lakeitra Dawkins of Greenville; three step brothers, Dominique Taylor and Montez Gary and Tyree Lunsford, all of Greenville; grand-parents, Janice Franklin, Johnny Rosemond, Diane Gary and Thomas Gary, all of Greenville; two aunts, Crystal and Lafayette Robinson of Greenville; four uncles, Carlose Robinson, John Franklin, Bryan Richardson and Michael Franklin, all of Greenville and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
