Darian Goolsby

Mr. Darian “Biggie” Goolsby of Charlotte, North Carolina, passed on Saturday, December 15, 2018. He was a son of Walter Lee Goolsby Jr., and Aileen Webb Wall.

He was a graduate of Northwest Cabarrus High School, class of 2016. After graduation, he attended Methodist University as a student and football player. Then he transferred to Central Piedmont Community College CPCC) while also employed by Fedex Ground.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Walter Goolsby, Sr. maternal grandfather, Allen D. Webb; great-grandparents, Lou Ella Williams and Booker (Dorothy) Walker; and an aunt, Joyce Goolsby.

Left with many fond and cherished memories are his mother, Aileen Webb Wall of Charlotte, NC; father, Walter (Margaret) Goolsby, Jr., of Mauldin, SC; two sisters, Amber Goolsby and Amir Goolsby, both of Mauldin, SC; four brothers, LaMarcus T. Webb of Fountain Inn, SC, Julian Goolsby, Shaunta Brewster and Zachary Ferguson, all of Mauldin, SC; grandparents; Dorothy Webb of Fountain Inn, Barbara (Rev. Ronnie) Bowens of Greenville, and Mickey (Margaret) Rollison of Simpsonville; four uncles, Willie (Mitzi) Goolsby of Greenville, SC, Michael (Margaret) Thompson of Fountain Inn, Ricky Lee Thompson of New York, and Allen Douglas Webb of Florida; one aunt, Barbara Ann (Ronnie) Steven of Columbia, SC; godparents; Robert Banks of Greenville and Michele Sitton of Simpsonville; and a host of other relatives and friends.
