Mr. David “Pop” Arnold, 91, of Greenville, South Carolina, passed away Sunday, August 27, 2023, at St. Francis Hospital Downtown. He was a son of the late Charlie Arnold and Alma Ligon Arnold and Hazeleen Mansel Arnold.
Surviving: four daughters, Treva (Willie) Jackson, Lei Lang, Wilma Kelly, Precious (James) Hunter, all of Greenville, SC; two sons, David Kelly and Mark Jefferson, both of Greenville. SC; four sisters, Ruby Arnold of Cokesbury, SC, Hazeleen Gilliam and Rosa Freeman, both of Greenwood, SC and Linda Ebo of Atlanta, GA six brothers, Ellis Arnold of Taylors, SC, Ellis Arnold, Izel (Vernell) Arnold and Jimmy Lewis (MaryAnn) Arnold, all of Hodges, SC; Abner “Nuke” Arnold and Carl Michael (Barbara Ann) Arnold, both of Greenwood, SC; sixteen grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services: Saturday, September 2, 2023, 11:00am, at Greater Emmanuel Temple Church, with interment Greenville Memorial Gardens.
