A time to be born: Mr. David Michael Austin was born on May 13, 1957, to Homer Austin, Jr. and the late Orabeth Walker Austin

A time to live: David grew up in Easley, South Carolina, where he attended Easley High School. He retired from Easley High School, where he worked as a custodian for many years.

A time to love: David met and married the love of his life, the late Hazel Jean Chapman Austin.

A time to Cease from living: God called David from his earthly home in Greenville to his Heavenly home on Sunday, September 9, 2018.

A time to mourn: David leaves to cherish many fond memories, his father, Homer Austin of Easley, SC; three brothers, Rickey Austin of Easley, SC, Jerry Lee Walker of Bloomfield, CT, and Homer Ferrell of Greenville, SC; a stepson, James (Sabrina) Robinson of Greenville, SC; a devoted step-grandson, Jasper (Rochelle) Chapman of Simpsonville, SC; a devoted friend, James Rosemond; a devoted cousin, Tony Stokes; and a host of other relatives and friends.
