David Barton

Mr. David Barton, 53, of 106 Mount Eustis Street, Greenville, South Carolina, transitioned on Monday, July 15, 2019, at Poinsett Health and Rehabilitation, Greenville, South Carolina. He was a son of Bernice Barton and the late Arthur Lee Barton.

David was educated in the Greenville County School System. He enjoyed reading, doing handy work and biking, all around Greenville. He also loved to cook and go fishing.

He was preceded in death by three brothers, James Lindsey Barton, Mac Lester Barton and George Allen Barton; and two sisters, Patsy Downs and Margaret Ann Barton.

Left to cherish loving and fond memories are his mother, Bernice Barton; two sisters, Rosa Lee (Theodore) Nelson of Simpsonville, and Linda Barton of the home; one brother, Lonny Barton (Ambrea) of Greenville; two aunts; one uncle; three nieces; five nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.
