Mr. David Lewis "Mook" McMahand, Jr. 51, of Greenville, South Carolina passed away Friday, July 28, 2023, at St. Francis Hospital. He was the son of Charles (Letricia) Evans Stokes, who raised him and Rev. David Lewis (Rev. Grace Winestock) McMahand, Sr.
He was married to Yvonne Williams McMahand for 14 years.
In addition to his wife, he survived by three daughters, Monesha (Jim) Ballenger of Greenville, SC; and Markalia Owens of Atlanta, GA; Corine (Serge) Hopkins, of Youngstown, OH; four sons, Ronell B. (Ta’Kania) Williams, of Youngstown, OH; Marcus “Mark” Smith of Atlanta, GA; Rakim (Maria) Williams, of Greenville, SC; and David Lewis McMahand, III, of Greenville, SC; one sister, Tasha (Rob) Davis of Simpsonville, SC; three brothers, Deric L. (Sandra) McMahand of Simpsonville, SC; Charles (Angel) Stokes of Atlanta, GA; Anthony (Tiara) McGee, of Greenville, SC; seventeen grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services: Friday, August 4, 2023, 11:30am, at Watkins Garrett & Woods Mortuary, with interment in Flat Rock Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.
