Debra Brown, McKinney

Ms. Debra Chapman McKinney-Brown, 64, affectionately known as “Deb” departed this earthly home to reach her Heavenly home on Friday, October 25, 2019. She was born January 15, 1955, to the late William Parkus Chapman and Pauline Dawson Chapman.

She was a graduate of Greenville High School class of 1973. Debra loved spending time with her family, especially quality time spent with her sisters. She enjoyed cooking special meals for her daughter and grandsons and loved playing cards. One of her favorite things to say was “Let’s throw one”.

Debra was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Judy Diane Chapman and Jo Ann Hampton; two brothers, William Buggy Brown Chapman and Alton Stank Chapman.

Left to cherish loving and fond memories are her Baby Girl Alisa Michelle Scott; one stepson, Roderick Brown; one stepdaughter, Sophia Brown; two grandsons, Travious Daniel and Davion Scott; one great-grand-daughter, Lylah Daniel; four sisters, Rhonda (Earl) Harris, Camara Mookie Chapman, Linda Watts and Bobbie Horton; one brother, Anthony Lamar Big Man (Sharon) Chapman; and a host of loving family members and friends.
