Born in Pickens SC, He was the son of Oneal and Mary Pickens Smith.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by one aunt, Florann Pickens of Greenville, SC; one uncle, Wade (Jenett) Pickens of Greenville, SC; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Graveside Service: Sunday, August 8, 2021, at Fairfield UMC Cemetery.
