Donald Smith

Mr. Donald Keith “Kenny” Smith, 48, of Greenville, South Carolina, passed away on Monday, March 6, 2017, at Greenville Health System. Born in Anderson, South Carolina, he was a son of Rebecca Smith and the late Hayward Shankle.

“Kenny” was a graduate of Carolina High School and formerly worked as a security guard for various companies. He was a member of Sweet Canaan Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his father, Hayward Shankle and grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Curtis Smith.

Fond memories are in the minds of his devoted mother, Rebecca Smith of the home; three daughters, Tanesha (Roderick) Duckett of Simpsonville, Kendra Smith of Mauldin, and Kendreana Drummond of Greenville; one sister, Regina (Brent) Richardson of Mauldin; one brother, Andre Smith of the home; two grandchildren, Marquis Wilson and Tamahz Wilson; eight aunts, Rita Mahammad, Angela Mattison, Peggy, Jackie, Jeanette, Barbara, Inez and Leatrice Smith, all of Greenville; one uncle, James Smith of Greenville and a host of other relatives and friends.
