Donna Slater

Mrs. Donna Lee “Ms. Don” Slater, 87, of 116 Gayle Street, Piedmont, South Carolina, passed on Wednesday, February 27, 2019, at Prisma Health Greenville.

She retired from Sue Cleveland Elementary School as Head Janitor. Her favorite pastime was pouring ceramic and helping Mr. and Mrs. Farrow’s family.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Christi Lynn Robinson; three brothers, Bobby Robinson, Willie Robinson and Wayne Robinson; a sister, Shirley Robinson and her companion, George Simmons.

Left to cherish many fond and loving memories are one sister, Betty Sue Robinson of Greenville; two brothers,Tasso (Sarah) Robinson and Billy (Vickie) Robinson, both of Greenville; one grandson, Marcus (Dionne) Robinson of Piedmont; six great-grandchildren, Braylin Anderson, Jaylin Anderson, Kendra Robinson, Marquis Robinson, Khalil Robinson and Jayla Little; a special niece, Maggie Green who was reared in the home for many years; a special friend, Carolyn Burts, her caregiver for years; and a host of other relatives and friends.
