Mrs. Dorothy Jones Boyd, 79, of Greenville, South Carolina, departed this life on Wednesday, August 1, 2018, at Greenville Health System. She was the daughter of the late Willie Jones and Laura Gary Jones.
She was a graduate of Sanders High School in Laurens, South Carolina, and a retiree of Her Majesty Manufacturing Company.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Mr. James E. Boyd.
Left to cherish many fond and loving memories are one son, Robert Earl Boyd of Greenville; two daughters, Michelle (Eddie) Greer and Teresa (Freddie) Burdine, both of Greenville; one brother, Dorphus (Sylvia) Jones of Clinton; eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; a goddaughter, Donna (Kenneth) Searcy of Lithonia, GA; a special niece, Diane Clardy of Laurens; and a host of other relatives and friends.
