Mrs. Dorothy Mae Pendergrass Cohen, 83, of Greenville, South Carolina, passed on Saturday, October 1, 2022, at Prisma Healthcare- Greenville Memorial Hospital.

She was married to the late John Edward Cohen, Sr. for 43 years.

Surviving: one daughter, Sallie Mae Cohen of Greenville, SC; one special goddaughter reared in the home, Sallie Davis of Greenville, SC; five sons, John Edward Cohen, Jr., of Winston Salem, NC, Julius Allen Cohen of Greenville, SC, Wallace Cohen of Taylors, Richard (Beverly) Cohen of Richmond Hill, GA and Stanley O’Neal Cohen of Taylors, SC; two sisters, Ruth Ann (Joe) Sigler of Sumter, SC and Dale Pendergrass of Sumter, SC; twenty-three grandchildren; twenty-nine great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Graveside Service: Saturday, October 8, 2022, 1:00pm, at Greenville Memorial Gardens.
