Dorothy Moore

Ms. Dorothy “Dot” Moore, 79, of Greer, passed on Wednesday, February 10, 2021, at her residence. Born in Edgefield County, she was a daughter of the late Walter Garrett and Catherine Bryant.

Surviving: one daughter, Desiree Moore of Philadelphia, PA; three sons, Frederick (Belinda) Calhoun of Piedmont, SC, Melvin (Annette) Calhoun and Edward David Moore of Philadelphia, PA; four sisters, Pearline (Milton) Cooper of Warrenton, NC, Christine Fripp of New York City, NY, Ella Brown of Abbeville, SC and Redell Collier of Tampa, FL; four brothers, Larry Davis of Warrenton, NC, Roger Raheem Garrett of Philadelphia, PA, Joel Garrett of Tampa, FL and James Brian Garrett of Philadelphia, PA; fourteen grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and expecting one; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be held Thursday, February 18, 2021, 11:00 a.m. at Watkins, Garrett & Woods Mortuary with interment Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
