Dorothy Rice

Mrs. Dorothy Clark Rice, 60, of 3404 White Horse Road, passed away Tuesday, April 28, 2015 at home. Born in Greenville, she was the daughter of the late John F. and Hattie L. Gray Mayfield. She was preceded in death by brother, David Mayfield.

Surviving: husband, Willie Rice of the home; stepdaughter, Diane Rice of Atlanta; stepson, Willie (Tina) Rice, Jr. of Greenville; sisters, Carrie Bell Maroney of Greenville, Mary Alice Mayfield of Piedmont, Elizabeth Ann Mayfield and Eva Mayfield, both of Greenville; brothers, Joe (Betty) Mayfield and Willie L. Mayfield, both of Greenville; sister-in-law, Estella Mayfield; two grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Funeral Service: Saturday, May 2, 2015, 1:00 PM at Watkins, Garrett & Woods Mortuary, with private burial.
