Ms. Earlene Jones, 87, of Greenville, South Carolina, widow of the late James Monroe “June” Jones for 15 years, passed away Thursday December 7, 2023, at her residence. She was a daughter of the late Toy and Mary Poole Dillard.
Surviving: four children, James Earl Jones of Decatur, GA, Mary (David) Eagleton and Elisha Green both of Greenville, SC and Nateashia Green-Rose of Seattle, WA; six siblings, Christine (Morris) Williams of Tampa, FL, Ben (Ann) Dillard of Washington, DC, Richard Smith (Bessie) Pittsboro, NC, Mary Talley of Greenville, SC, Janice (Wilbur) Cave of Columbia, SC and Peggy (Lloyd) Toone of Spartanburg, SC; six grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services: Saturday, December 16, 2023, 1:00pm, at Gethsemane Baptist Church, with interment in Church Cemetery.
