Mrs. Effie Juanita Sloan Johnson, 92, of Washington, DC passed on Sunday, November 27, 2022. She was a daughter of the late Guy and Ida Mae McGowan Sloan.
She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
She was married to the late JD Johnson.
Surviving: three sons, John Michael Dean of Fairfax, VA, Norwood Sloan of Woodbridge, VA and Alvin Dean of Brooklyn, NY; fifteen grandchildren; a host of great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Viewing: Tuesday, December 20, 2022, 1:00pm – 7:00pm at Watkins, Garrett and Woods Mortuary with interment on Wednesday, December 21, 2022,1:00pm in Mt. Ararat Baptist Church Cemetery, Travelers Rest South Carolina.
