Elaine Wakefield

Ms. Elaine “Classie” Wakefield, 61, of 500 Wenwood Road, passed away on Wednesday, March 4, 2015 at Greenville Memorial Hospital. Born in New Orleans, LA, she was the daughter of the late James Henderson and Mel Marie Henry. She was preceded in death by brother, Grady Rucker.

Surviving: daughters, LaChandra (Rico) Williams of Greenville and DeAfrica Wakefield of Rex, GA; sister, Penny McDonald; brother, Jimmy Allen, both of Greenville; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.

Funeral Service: Monday, March 9, 2015, 2:00 PM at Watkins, Garrett & Woods Mortuary, with burial in Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
