Elgin "El" Watkins

Mr. Elgin Georgio “El” Watkins departed this life on Monday, September 21, 2015, at his home. He was born on April 27, 1981 in Greenville County and was the son of Ms. Cynthia and the late Irby James.

“El” was a graduate of Eastside High School and was an Assistant Manager of Rhythm & Bluezz Old School. He was a Christian. “El” loved life and lived it to the fullest. He cherished his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by a nephew; Antron Ferguson.

Left to cherish his memories is his loving mother, Ms. Cynthia of Greenville, SC; devoted companion, Sharieka Lee of the home; daughters; Kendall (Amari) and Kennedy (Linae) Lee both of the home; sons, Elgin Javario Gambrell and Nigel Giovanni Lee both of Greenville, SC; sisters, LaCherri (James) Gary of Augusta GA, Mary Ferguson of Greenville, SC and Regina Lee of Pendleton, SC; brother, Irby Jarrard (Joy) Watkins of Mauldin, SC; very special god-parents, Marie Cureton, Audrey Gambrell, Patricia Ann Gambrell and Jocko Dirton all of Greenville, SC; uncle, Robert (Pookie) Barber of Greenville, SC; nieces/nephews, Tasha Ferguson, Jahkim Gary, Sierra Watkins, Camron Valentine, Jordan Watkins, Antronn Ferguson, Makayla James, Miah Ferguson, Aiden Ferguson, Korey Watkins, Kingston Gary, Shenell Ferguson and a host of other relatives and friends.
