Elizabeth Ely

Mrs. Elizabeth Ann “Liz” Ely, 84, of Greenville, South Carolina, departed this life on Sunday, March 11, 2018, at her home. She was a daughter of the late Nathaniel Thompson and Jennie Mae Blanden Thompson.

She was a lifelong member of Long Branch Baptist Church and the Soulful Dozen Social Club. She loved her family and their gatherings and the home shopping networks, QVC, Evine Live and HSN.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, James L. Hallums.

Left with fond memories are a loving son, Keith (Wanda) Ely of Piedmont, SC; a caring brother, Louis (Juanita) Thompson of Greenville, SC; seven grandchildren; twelve great-grand-children; a host of great-great-grandchildren; a loving aunt, Carrie L. Garrett of Easley, SC; a loving sister-in-law, Grace Jenkins of Greenville, SC; her best friend, Leila Lindsay of Greenville, SC; other relatives and friends.
