Elizabeth Moorehead

Mrs. Elizabeth A. “Miss Koot” Moorehead, 90, of Greenville, departed this life on Tuesday, January 14, 2020, at Prisma Healthcare Upstate. She was a daughter of the late Jerome and Carrie Sue Westfield Kelly.

She was graduate of Sterling High School and was employed at W.F. Woolworth Company before becoming a domestic housewife. She was a member of Flat Rock Missionary Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Moorehead; two sons, William “Tony” Moorehead and Tyrone Moorehead; a sister, Hallie Rosemond; and two brothers, Daniel Kelly and Jerome “Joe” Kelly.

Left with many fond and loving memories are four daughters, Hallie Chapman, Beverly Moorehead and Angela Moorehead, all of Piedmont, SC, and Peggy Moorehead of Temple Hill, MD; one son, Harold Moorehead of Temple Hill, MD; four grandchildren, Gerrelle (Leslie) Moorehead,Akeem (Amanda) Thompson, Sierra Moorehead (Tay) and Xzayvier Williams; nine great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
