.Mrs. Emma Lee Williams, 88, of Greenville, South Carolina, formerly of Perry Avenue, passed on Thursday, August 16, 2018, at her home. She was a daughter of the late Archie Freeman and Maggie Turner Freeman.
She retired from Franklyn Dye and Yarn Textile Mill after thirty years of service. She was a member of Antioch Missionary Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of sixty-three years, J.W. Williams; a son, J.W. Williams, Jr.; and a grandson, Carlos Williams.
Left to cherish many fond and loving memories are one son, James Williams of Greenville; twelve grand-children, Vardry (Ebony) Aiken, Brenda Robinson, Rico (Chan) Williams, Fredrico L. (Erica) Kirksey, Tywanda (Curly) King, Sabrina Gaines, Jot Williams, Brenda Blandin Anderson, Ben Jeter, Felecia Mitchell and Alicia Williams; thirty great-grandchildren, nineteen great-great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
