Ms. Emma Kay Neal, 96, of Greenville, South Carolina departed this life to go to her Heavenly home on Wednesday, December 6, 2017, at Quillen Manor in Fountain Inn, South Carolina. She was a daughter of the late Ed Smith and Pauline Rodgers Smith.
Mrs. Neal was a dedicated member of Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church. She worked faithfully as a Sunday School teacher, President of the Usher Board, member of the Beautification Club and Senior Action Center until her health began to decline.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Roosevelt Neal; and a sister, Annie Mae Johnson.
She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Left to cherish fond and loving memories are an adopted daughter, Deborah Neal of Greenville; two grandsons, Darius Neal and Kenji Neal, both of Greenville; two great-grandchildren; nieces, Joann Johnson Donald of Simpsonville and Joyce (Charles) Loures of Mauldin; nephews, Eddie L. (Marilyn) Johnson of Mauldin and Ronnie K. Johnson of Greenville; and a host other relatives and friends.
