Mrs. Emma Mary Thompson, 99, of Atlanta, Georgia, formerly of Clinton, SC, passed on Monday, November 25, 2019, at Emory University Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Thomas Godfrey Ferguson and Bertha Elizabeth Young Ferguson. She was the wife of the late Benjamin Lee Thompson

Surviving: her children, Bennie Bennett of Union City, GA, Herbert (Pat) Thompson of Myrtle Beach, SC, Peggy (Larry) Randolph of College Park, GA, Andre (Etienne) Lakpa of Lithonia, GA; one brother, Horace (Mary Alice) Ferguson of Akron, OH; eight grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
