Erica Sloan

Ms. Erica Nicole Sloan, 29, of 130 West Fall River Way, passed away on Sunday, January 4, 2015, at St. Francis Hospital Downtown. She was the daughter of DeLisa Sloan Pitts, Eddie Lee (Marilyn) Johnson, and stepfather, Edward Pitts. She was preceded in death by her twin, Erin, aunt, Joaquina Troupe and maternal grandfather, Benny F. Sloan, Sr., and paternal grandparents, Wesley and Annie Mae Johnson.

Surviving, in addition to her parents: sisters, Renee Sloan of Simpsonville and Tia (Russell) Freeman of Mauldin; nephews, Braylen and Kendall Freeman, both of Mauldin; uncle, Benny (Sonya) Sloan, Jr. of Greensboro, NC, Derek Troupe of Waldorf, MD; aunts, Effie (Larkin) Williams, Betty (James) Bailey, and Lydia (Willie) Irby of Virginia Beach, VA.; and maternal grandmother, Margaret Sloan.

Funeral Service: Friday, January 9, 2015, 2:00 PM at Valleybrook Outreach Baptist Church, with burial in Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
