Ms. Earnestine Jenkins Downs, 78, of Taylors, South Carolina, passed on Tuesday, September 6, 2022, at her residence. She was a daughter of the late Samuel David Jenkins, Sr., Lillie Boyd Jenkins.
She is survived by three daughters, Denise Gantt of Taylors, SC, Joenell (Blake) Johnson of Mauldin, SC and Loretta Downs of Taylors, SC; two sons, Pete ‘Bobby’ (Maxine) Downs and Antonio ‘Tony’ Downs, both of Greenville, SC; two sisters, Mary Downs of Simpsonville, SC and Lula Mae Jenkins of Greenville, SC; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a host of other close relatives, church family and friends.
Funeral Service: Sunday, September 11, 2022, 1:00pm, at Valley Brook Outreach Church, with interment in Greenville Memorial Gardens.
