Evelyn Clardy Berry

Mrs. Evelyn Clardy Berry was born on May 14, 1941, in Greenville County, SC to the late Benjamin “Benny” Clardy and Leila Johnson Clardy. Her 78 years of life were a well-lived story worth telling; full of love, joy, and humility. On Thursday, August 29, 2019, Evelyn made her eternal transition. She was preceded in death by her late husband Pastor Henry Berry, Jr.

She leaves to cherish her memory a daughter, Valerie (Michael) Chatman of Greenville, SC; son, Cornelius (Cassandra) Berry, I, of Macomb, MI; one sister, Elaine Chapman of Roxbury, MA; six grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
