Fannie Louise Jamison departed this life on October 24, 2017, at Spartanburg Regional Hospital in Spartanburg, South Carolina. She was born on September 2, 1938, in Pickens, South Carolina, to the late Irene Jamison who departed this life when Fannie was very young.
She was reared by her two aunts, Hattie Boyd and Mrs. A.B. Banks, along with Mae L. Earle and in her latter young adult life by Deacon and Mrs. Albert Jamison.
She was a 1957 graduate of Clearview High School in Easley, South Carolina. She relocated to Detroit, Michigan where she was employed by Jacobson Store Incorporated in Burr, Michigan and later transferred to Fort Myers, Florida with the company. She retire after 38 years of employment with Jacobson Store Incorporation
She leaves to cherish her warm and loving memories: two sisters, Elizabeth Morton of Detroit, Michigan, Sue Griffin Casey, South Carolina; two brothers, Mitchel L. (Carol) Jamison of Kissimmee, Florida and Cecil Earle of Newark, New Jersey; one goddaughter, Veronica (Larry) of Detroit, Michigan; two godsons, Larry Edwards and James Peden of Detroit, Michigan; four loving nieces, Sharon, Kim, Melissa and Evelyn; three nephews, Elijah, Rashad and Tommy; many loving cousins; the family of Jay’s apartment who loving watched over Fannie; special friends, Coral L. Sutton, Marie Williams, Denise Jones and Patricia Gibbs; one sister-in-law, Mrs. Margaret Jamison of Greenville, South Carolina.
