Felisia Sitton

Mrs. Felisia N. “Lisa” Shannon Sitton, 49, transitioned from this side on Wednesday February 10, 2016, at her home. Born in Greenville, she was the daughter of the late Hardy Boyd Shannon and Rosella Gertrude Shannon Gray.

Lisa received a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Benedict College and Jacksonville University. She was employed at Verizon Wireless as a Solution Specialist and was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church. She often volunteered at homeless shelters; she gave back to the community in so many ways.

Memories of Lisa will be treasured by her mother, Rosella Gertrude Shannon Gray of Greenville; husband, Earnest Sitton of the home; daughter, Aubri Walker of Greenville; son, Terrence Walker, Jr. of Jacksonville, FL; stepsons, Darius Sitton and Javis Sitton, both of Greer; sisters, Naomi Choice of Charlotte, NC and Lela Shannon of Greenville; brother, William Hardy Shannon of Jacksonville, NC and Arthur Gray of Greenville; grandmother, Lela Hughes of Greenville; aunts, Virda Carr and Willie Cox, both of Travelers Rest and Juanita Latimore of Greenville; uncles, Walter Hughes of Greenville and Johnathan Hughes of Winston-Salem, NC; best friends, Cheryl Parker and Janetta Carr, both of Fayetteville, NC and a host of other relatives and friends.
