Mrs. Frances Betty Jones, 80, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, December 15, 2018, at Mount Home Health and Rehab in Hendersonville, North Carolina. She was a daughter of the late Pearlie Frances Mansell Townes and Walter Scott Williams.
She was born in Pickens County and educated in the Greenville County School System..
She was a caregiver and also worked at Nicholtow Super-market.
Frances accepted Christ as her personal Lord and Savior at an early age and was a member of New Hope Christian Fellowship Church of Greenville South Carolina. She enjoyed serving the Lord and worshiping and praising God with her church family. She always enjoyed spending time with her family, traveling and caring for others.
She was preceded in death by her husband Noble Jones; a daughter, Lula Mae Gray; a sister, Nettie James; a brother, Anthony Townes; and a son-in-law, Ben Searles.
Surviving are four daughters, Darlene Searles of Greenville, SC, Mae Frances (Billy) Glover of Piedmont, SC, Annette (Stonewall) Randolph and Cornelius Gray both of Charlotte, NC; two sons, Willie Earl Gray of Greenville, SC and Nathaniel (Lavonda) Gray of Charlotte, NC; three sisters, Bobbie (Harold) Sullivan, Carol Martin and Gloria (Jackie) Gowens, all of Greenville, SC; one brother, Walter (Doris) Williams of Fountain Inn, SC; seventeen grand-children; thirty great-grandchildren; twelve great-great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
