Frances Evans

Mrs. Frances Elizabeth Evans 84, of Simpsonville, South Carolina, passed away Saturday June 24, 2023, at her residence. She was the daughter of the late J. B. Dendy and Sallie Childs Dendy.

Surviving: four daughters, Wilma “Niecy” Dendy of Greenville, SC, Beverly Goodmond of Simpsonville, SC, Dorothy Walker of Greenville, SC and Tammy Willis of Dallas, GA; three sons, Charles "Herk” (Marcella) Dendy, Terry (Aleatha) Dendy and Michael “Jolly” Evans, all of Greenville, SC; a granddaughter raised in the home Sallisha (Douglas) Dendy-Jones; three sisters, Betty Jo Valentine, Virginia “Jean” Anderson, both of Greenville, SC and Francine Gaffney of Easley, SC; five brothers, John (Patricia) Dendy, Ralph (Gloria) Dendy, Terry “Four Biscuit” (Areatha) Dendy, David (Vivian) Dendy and James “Cooter” (Verna) Dendy, all of Greenville, SC; eighteen grandchildren, twenty-three great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services: Friday, June 30, 2023, 2:00pm at Macedonia Baptist Church with interment in Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
