Genell Omigie

Ms. Genell Posey Omigie, 57, of Mauldin, South Carolina, passed on Sunday, December 26, 2021 at St. Francis Hospital Downtown. Born in Gaffney, South Carolina, she was a daughter of the late Leonard, Sr. and Nannie Lee Davis.

Surviving: one daughter, Aja "Paris" Posey of Greenville, South Carolina; one son, Dominque Simmons of Greenville, South Carolina; three sisters, Gracie Davis of Greer, South Carolina, Harriett Ann Davis of Atlanta, Georgia and Ann Maria Yeargin of Detroit, Michigan; five brothers, Ricky (DeDe) Dawkins of Gaffney, South Carolina, Kenneth (Virginia) Dawkins, Greer, South Carolina, Leonard Posey, Jr. of Greer, South Carolina, Frank (Veronica) Davis of Gaffney, South Carolina and Charles Anthony (Donna) Davis of Travelers Rest, SC five grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Graveside Service: Tuesday, January 4, 2021, 2:00pm at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
