Geneva Palmore

Mrs. Geneva Rosemond “Moma Neet” Palmore, 109, transitioned from this side on Tuesday, April 12, 2016, at McCall Hospice House. Born in Greenville, she was the daughter of the late Walt and Lula Harris Rosemond.

She formerly worked at the Piedmont Shirt Factory and later became a housekeeper. She was a member of the Mountain View Baptist Church and the Happy Hearts Senior Club.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jonas Palmore and son, John H. Palmer, Sr.

Surviving: grandchildren, John H. (Connie) Palmer, Jr., Jocelyn Palmer, and Katie Gambrell, all of Greenville; five great-grandchildren, Avery and Jasmine Gambrell, Quentin, Douglas and Kevin Thompson; special friend, Annie Sue Jones of Greenville; and a host of other relatives and friends
