George Collins

Mr. George Edward “Yogi” Collins, passed on Saturday, November 23, 2019, at his residence. He was a son of the late Johnny and Mary Ware Collins.

He was a member of Reedy River Missionary Baptist Church. His hobbies were cooking, watching westerns, hanging out with the boys and dancing.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Jerry Ware.

Many cherished memories are left with his wife, Linda Sullivan Collins of Greenville, SC; three daughters, Ann-Drea “Ann” Collins ,Joya “Bug” Collins and Kenicha Richardson, all of Greenville, SC; one sister, Debra Ware of Marshville, NC; two brothers, James Collins and Johnny Collins, both of Marshville, NC; two sisters-in-law, Mamie Valentine and Kathleen Boyd, both of Greenville, SC; three brothers-in-law, Eugene (Nener), John Sullivan and Thomas (Juanita) Sullivan, all of Greenville, SC; two aunts, Geraldine Smith of Rock Hill, SC, and Jane Watts of Marshville, NC; one uncle, Martin Ware of Marshville, NC; four nieces, China Allen, Takia Rushing (Jonathan), Denna Collins and Kria Potts, all of Marshville, NC; three nephews, Dantavius (Michelle) Ware, Thomas Ware and Devonte Collins, all of Marshville, SC; and a host of other relatives and friends
