Mr. George Griffin, III, 70, of Mauldin, South Carolina, passed on Thursday, May 26, 2022, at his residence. Born in Detroit, MI, he was a son of the late George Jr., and Nannie Sue Pinson Griffin. He was the husband to Shetella Harvey Griffin.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children: George Griffin IV, of Simpsonville, SC, Lawanda Griffin of Detroit, MI, Terence Davis of Houston, TX, Jonathan Griffin of Detroit, MI, Brandi Griffin of Charlotte, NC and Shaniece Williams of Detroit, MI; three siblings: Faye Griffin Wynn of Simpsonville, SC, Jacqueline Griffin White of Warren, MI and Bennie Griffin and David Griffin of Detroit, MI; thirteen grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral Service: Tuesday, June 7, 2022, at Watkins Garrett & Woods Mortuary, with interment Thursday, June 9, 2022, at Fort Jackson National Cemetery, Columbia SC.
