George Harrison

Mr. George Franklin Harrison, Sr., 70, departed this life on Tuesday, February 7, 2017, at St. Francis Hospital System. Born in Anderson, South Carolina, he was a son of the late Willie Maude Harrison.

George attended Sterling High School and retired from Norfolk Southern Railroad as a machine operator.

Fond memories will be treasured by his wife, Linda Jamison Harrison of the home; daughters, Rosha Harrison and Benita (Allen) Young, both of Greenville; son, George (Terri) Harrison, Jr.; sisters, Elizabeth Mayes, Shurbby (Elford) Moultrie, Betty (Collie) Fisher, Sylvia (Sherman) Lyles and Melody Harrison, all of Greenville; brothers, John H. (Gloria) Harrison, Leroy (Dorothy) Harrison, Curtis Harrison and Willie Harrison, all of Greenville; one grandson raised in the home, Dominique Harrison; four other grandchildren, Natoya Young-Harrison, Allen Young, Jr., Marquise Young and Brittany Thompson; seven great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
