George Reaves

Mr. George E. Reaves, 79, of Pelzer, South Carolina, passed on Tuesday, June 21, 2022, at his residence. He was a son of the late Willie and Mary Elizabeth Anderson Reaves. He was married to Amber King Reaves for over 15 years.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by three daughters, Shanae (Maurice) Brown of Gainesville, GA, Monique Reaves of Baltimore, MD, Lisa Reeves of Upper Marlboro, MD; two stepdaughters, Tyea (Devoria) Deloach of Pelzer, SC and Amber Brooks (Charles Parks) of Piedmont, SC; two stepsons, Andrew Long of Baltimore, MD and Reginald Brooks of Navarre, FL; five sisters, Delphine (Cornelius) Brooks of Bear, DE, Patricia Reaves and Dora (Stewart) Jones-Brownley, both of Baltimore, MD, Mary Dorine Barnes of Atlanta, GA and Betty Suzette Reaves of Philadelphia, PA; two brothers, Alton R. (Deborah) of Bear, DE and Grayland Reaves of Baltimore, MD; a special friend, Danny (Tonya) Rosemond of Pelzer, SC; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services: Friday, July 1, 2022, 11:00am, at Watkins, Garrett and Woods Mortuary with interment in Greenville Memorial Gardens.
