George Williams

Mr. George Williams, 76, of 410 Laurel Drive, passed away on Wednesday, February 4, 2015 at home. Born in Greenville, he was the son of the late Frank and Nellie Mae Nesbitt Williams. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lillie Long Williams.

Surviving: daughters, Joyce (Mitchell) Madden of Simpsonville, Francine Williams of the home, Dianne (Bernie) Williams of Baltimore, MD; sons, Ricky Williams of the home, Howard Williams of Belton, and Tony (Karen) Williams of Greenville; sisters, Hattie Mae Drummond and Mattie Williams, both of Greenville; brothers; Broadus Nesbitt of Aurora, IL, Roosevelt Williams of Greenville, Willie Lewis Williams of Simpsonville, Otis Williams, Calvin (Elaine) Williams, and Eddie Williams, all of Greenville; seven grandchildren, to include Michelle Williams and Zunita Mattison of the home; a host of great-grandchildren, to include Amiya Jones and Zacari Wakefield, both of the home.

Funeral Service: Wednesday, February 11, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Old Pilgrim Missionary Baptist Church, 3540 Woodruff Road, Simpsonville with burial in the church cemetery.
