Mrs. Georgia Willis Heard Bennett, 99, of Taylors, South Carolina, passed away Friday, September 8, 2023, at her residence. She was a daughter of the late Augustus Heard and Fannie Marshall Heard. She was the widow of the late Eustace Edward Bennett.
Surviving: one son, Spencer (Sharon) Bennett of Taylors, SC; one daughter, Pamela (Curtis) Askew of Greenville, SC; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Delta Sigma Theta Omega/Omega Service: Thursday, September 14, 2023, 6:30pm, at Watkins Garrett & Woods Mortuary.
Funeral Services: Friday, September 15, 2023, 11:00am, at Watkins Garrett & Woods Mortuary, with interment in Greenville Memorial Gardens.
