Gerald Boyd

On December 2, 2018, at 1:30pm, the Lord’s angel stopped by and picked up another angel, Gerald Boyd and called him home to rest. He was married to the late Vickie Boyd, the love of his life.

Gerald Boyd was born in Greenville, South Carolina, on January 22, 1940. His parents were the late Luther Lee Boyd and Janie Bell Jackson Boyd.

He was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister, Patsy Boyd, Theron Boyd, Sr., Nathan Boyd and Carolyn Boyd.

Surviving are one sister, Juanita Boyd (Darrell) of Greenville, SC; two brothers, Tony Boyd (Brenda) and Milton Boyd (Geraldine), both of Greenville, SC; an adoptive brother and sister, Pamela Boyd (James) and Collin (Tiffany) Boyd of Columbus, OH; a special niece, Sheila Barton; a special nephew, Theron Boyd, Jr.,; and a host of other nieces and nephews, caring family and friends.

In life we all have appointments we can or cannot keep, however, death is one that we all must keep. In preparation for this, Gerald Boyd made peace with our Almighty God.
