Germaine Whiteside

Mr. Germaine Cedeno “Maine” Whiteside, 44, of Fountain Inn, South Carolina, passed on Saturday, October 22, 2016, at his home. Born in Greenville, he was a son of Carolyn Ann Whiteside and Henry I. (Marilyn) Duck.

“Maine” was a 1990 graduate of Travelers Rest High School and he attended ITT Technical Institute. He was employed by the Postal Service until his health began to decline.

Surviving, in addition to his parents are a son, Juwan D. Whiteside of Piedmont; brothers, Darrel D. Duck of Greenville and Chadwick I. Duck of Charlotte NC; grandmother, Ann Whiteside; aunts, Linda (Ralph) Gibson, Elaine (Thomas) Maxwell, Vada B. Levingston and Ann Grove, all of Travelers Rest; uncles, Michael Whiteside and Kenneth Grove, both of Travelers Rest; three great-aunts; one great-uncle and a host of other relatives and friends.
