Rev. Glasper “June” Nero, Jr, 78, of Easley, South Carolina, passed away Friday, September 1, 2023, at his residence. He was a son of the late Glasper Nero, Sr., and Annie Bradford Nero. He was widower of the late Dorothy Lane Nero.
Surviving: granddaughter, Temmessia Thurmond (Jarmell) Cousar, of the home; stepson, Quinton Jamison of Utah; five sisters, Evelyn N. Lee, Patricia N. Bailey, Beverly N. Spurlock, Henrietta N. Scott and Linda N. Williams; one brother, Kelvin Nero; one brother-in-law, Michael Hicks; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren, Jashana, Jaiden and Jayla; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services: Tuesday, September 12, 2023, 10:00am, at Springfield Baptist Church, with interment in M.J. Dolly Cooper Veterans Cemetery, Anderson SC.
