Gloria Duncan

Ms. Gloria Juanita “Newsii” Duncan, 47, of 410 Sulphur Springs Road, Greenville, South Carolina, departed this life on Saturday morning, November 26, 2016, at St. Francis Hospital. Born in Greenville, South Carolina, on July 24, 1969, she was a daughter of Annie R. Duncan and the late Charles Duncan.

Gloria joined the Old Pilgrim Baptist Church at an early age. She attended Southside and Carolina High Schools. She was formerly employed at Hardees on Church Street until her health began to decline.

She leaves to cherish many fond memories, her mother, Annie Ruth Duncan of Wyoming, OH; her loving and devoted stepmother, Ethel J. Duncan of Simpsonville; two daughters, Shelricka Duncan of Taylors and Victoria Rhome of Simpsonville; one sister, Tara Scofield of Wyoming, OH; three brothers, Charles, Leon and James, all of Greenville; three grandchildren, Aloni, Makya and Halo and a host of uncles, aunts, other relatives and friends.
