Grace Golden Stewart

Mrs. Grace Golden “Smiley” Stewart, 93, of Pelzer, South Carolina, wife of the late Edward Lee Stewart, Sr., passed on Saturday, May 4, 2024 at her residence.  Born in Greenville, she was a daughter of the late John and Mary Jane Johnson Golden.

Surviving:  two daughters, Sherlyn Clark and Fernita (Ernest) Fuller, Jr. both of Pelzer, SC; three sons, Edward Lee (Hattie) Steward, Jr., Tommy Stewart and Larry Stewart all of Pelzer, SC; one sister, Mary Jean (Douglas) Parham of Harlem, NY; two brothers, Elbert (Rev. Mae Frances) Golden and George Washington (Celestine) Golden both of Greenville, SC; thirteen grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; two great great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

 Funeral Service: Saturday, May 11, 2024, 1:00pm, at New ForksVille Baptist Church, with interment in  Church Cemetery.
