Gwendolyn Jenkins Florian

Mrs. Gwendolyn Jenkins, 61, of 1 Princess Avenue, Greenville, South Carolina, departed this life on Saturday, August 31, 2019, at Prisma Health Upstate. She was a daughter of the late Roy Lee Jenkins, Sr., and Essie M. Hunt Jenkins Williams.

She attended Parker High School and formerly worked at Francis Produce Company. She was a member of Mt. Olive CME Church.

Gwen was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Corey Jenkins.

Left to cherish many fond and loving memories are her husband, Tadeusz Florian of Greenville; a daughter, Ebony Jenkins of Greenville; seven sisters, Gloria Jenkins, Elizabeth Jenkins, Caroline Jenkins (Rev. Nathaniel) Poole, all of Greenville, Sharon Jenkins (Rev. Kenneth) Cannon of Simpsonville, Constance Jenkins (Wesley) O’Neal of Travelers Rest, and Allison Mansell and Lynn Mayes, both of Greenville; one brother, Roy Lee (Brenda) Jenkins, Jr.; four grandchildren, Ezekiel Jenkins, Perchada Jenkins, Yazmine Sullivan and Emily Jenkins; two great-grandchildren, Karter J. Jones and Japhan Foster; and a host of other relatives and friends.
