Harold Pasley

Mr. HAROLD EUGENE PASLEY, 87, of Greenville, South Carolina, departed this life on Sunday, April 17, 2016, at his home. Born November 10, 1928, in Laurens, South Carolina, he was the eldest son of the late Mr. Lester Irby and late Mrs. Zonia Bell Pasley Irby.

He received his education in the public schools of Laurens, South Carolina. He served in the United States Army. He was a retired contractor who specialized in carpentry.  In 1976, he was a founding member of Mount Hebron Baptist Church in Greenville, SC. He served as a deacon and in other official positions within the church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Ruth Blakely Pasley and daughter, Phyllis Belinda McClintock; three sisters, Betty Irby Pasley, Sammie Mae Coleman and Dorothy Irby Greene and one brother, Robert Irby.

He is survived by his wife of 13 years, Mary Pasley of the home; one daughter, Kera Johnson of Greenville, SC; grandson, Phillip (Nakia) McClintock of Laurens, SC and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, the Blakely and McClintock families and friends.
